I will never forget the first time I saw the Caribbean blue waters of Cancun. I was riding in a bus with 50 of my classmates, about to embark on my senior trip on April 3rd, 1995. I remember repeating the words over and over….is that for real? Is that really the ocean? I was in complete and total awe that day. In awe of the stunning colors, the waves, and the contrast of the blues to the white sand beach that never seemed to end. Twenty-five years later and almost 12 years into my career as a travel specialist, my breath is still taken away each time I see the Caribbean blue waters when I arrive to destination.
